DIASCIA cordata

Description

Gracious herbaceous plant native to South Africa and creating a small bush up to 30 cm tall. Throughout the warm season its thin stems are covered by small heart-shape leaves and produce many deep pink flowers.

Suggestions

Place it in sunny or semi shaded positions as well as in fertile, moist and well drained soils. It is ideal to be grown in pot. It could also be used for flowered borders or for rock gardens, ensuring a rich flowering anyway. Regular and light pruning improve both thickening and blooming.
