BUDDLEJA davidii 'Buz'

Description

Graceful deciduous shrub, with a more modest growth (max. 150 cm in height and length) and with a more compact shape, above all if compared with other varieties of Buddleja davidii. Thin and arched branches are covered by long lance-shaped leaves of a greyish green and red color and by scented and colored ears-shaped inflorescences, attracting the attention of butterflies hence its name "butterfly bush".

Suggestions

It's appreciated for its elegant blooming and for its adaptation to different conditions of cultivation; it can grow in pot, but it can also be used to create flower borders. It benefits from regular waterings in the driest period of the summer and appreciates light prunings at the end of winter in order to improve the compact shape.
