Original evergreen bush with a cushion shape, very compact and tidy. Originally from South Africa, it has a moderate growth rate and can quickly reach a maximum height of 0.6-1.0 m and even double its width. Branched from the base, it has thin stems covered with short grayish hairs. The leaves are small, bright green, alternate and very close together, lanceolate or linear and have edges folded down to cover almost entirely the surface of the lower page. From the beginning of autumn it is possible to observe the rich flowering of this plant, consisting of microscopic white flowers that create small inflorescences at the apex of the oldest branches. These flower heads, which cover almost the entire surface of the plant and emit a strong honey scent, can be used for the creation of floral compositions.
