DELOSPERMA aberdeenense

Description

Graceful perennial succulent with a typical ground cover, native to Southern Africa. The stems, thin and creeping, bear small grey-green leaves that from spring until late autumn, are numbered with numerous tiny flowers with daisy corollas, with a yellow center and pink petals.

Suggestions

It prefers sunny positions and poor, dried and well drained soils while it doesn't tolerate water stagnations. A light shortening of stems made during the vegetative regrowth, gives the plant a thicker and more compact shape and increases the already abundant flowering. It is suitable to the realization of small borders or to cover slopes or low walls. It can produce good results and a very pleasant effect also in pots and containers due to its hanging habit.
