AMPELOPSIS quinquefolia (=Parthenocissus)

Description

Decorative climbing plant that is widespread throughout the world, with long stems covered by compound leaves and tendrils by which the plant grows quickly and easily on walls and trees, becoming very intrusive. Its small yellow-green summer flowers produce purple autumn berries, particularly appetizing for birds. The color of leaves turns into a warm red-yellow in autumn.

Suggestions

Suitable to cover house walls with insulating and refracting function. It prefers deep and light soils, but it can adapt to each kind of soil, both in coastal and internal gardens.
