AGAVE lophantha 'Quadricolor'

Description

Small, rosette forming succulent plant of mexican origin with original leaves having 4 different shades of color and short reddish teeth. Over time it creates thick and compact clumps, which are wide but not so high, because of its prolific nature.

Suggestions

It needs sunny position and poor, dried and well drained soils. It appreciates a partial shading in summer. It tolerates low temperature if they are not associated to poor atmospheric humidity. Water moderately, letting it to dry well between 2 consecutive waterings. It is suitable to the earth with other cactaceae plants , but it can grow in pots and containers too giving immediately an exotic touch to any green corner.
