AGAVE americana 'Aureomarginata'

Description

Interesting succulent plant with an extraordinary drought resistance. It can be used for low maintenance gardens and it's perfect in pots, having a rosette 60-70 cm wide. It gives a special and exotic touch to the garden, but its hard leaves with pointed apices make the plant unsuitable to crowded places. It is very decorative as isolated specimen, but also associated with succulent plants.

Suggestions

In winter, avoid water excesses placing the plant in drained substrates. Although it tolerates long periods of drought, sporadic irrigations can accelerate growth and improve its aspect in spring/winter.
