COLEONEMA pulchrum

Description

Fascinating evergreen round shrub; it consists of flexible branches covered with tiny and bright green leaves which giving off a pleasant scent of nutmeg if rubbed between fingers. Thin and light branches move seductively and sway when the wind blows. Its appearance during flowering is even more striking when a myriad of little pink flowers cover the plant. Once established, it has a good resistance to drought and cold.

Suggestions

Avoid pruning it in summer; it's better to do it after the blooming. In very hot areas, it should be placed in a bright positions but not in full sun. It prefers drained soils and suffers water excesses and stagnations.
