BULBINE frutescens 'Hallmark'

Description

Interesting variety of Bulbine frutescens, succulent, perennial and evergreen, up to 30 cm tall, native to South Africa, capable of forming large and thick carpets of narrow and juicy leaves. Plant with fleshy roots, very resistant to drought, it spreads out on the ground as it grows, easily and quickly conquering the free space around it. Gives beautiful blooms all spring, replicating in late summer. The flowers, gathered in elongated inflorescences at the apex of very thin and tall stems, are starry, yellow and orange in color.

Suggestions

Excellent in pots and medium-sized containers on terraces and balconies; in the open ground it can enrich rock gardens, can form graceful borders, can retain the soil of slopes and sloping areas and can accompany other succulent plants or cacti.
