ALOE vera (=A. barbadensis)

Description

Evergreen succulent plant that grows as a main rosette and forms several small plants at the base. Cultivable in sunny locations and soils without stagnant water; it is a rustic and quite easy plant so it does not require special cares. It gives an exotic and interesting touch to the garden especially if associated with other Mediterranean succulent plants or shrubs. It's perfect for coastal gardens and it can be successfully grown in drained and dry substrates.

It can be grown in pot. It should be placed in sunny positions and in drained soils.
