Perennial herbaceous ground cover plant. Its fleshy leaves are green on the upper page, while the lower one is covered with a silvery white layer producing a very ornamental and striking effect. Lawns realized with these species are also adorned by graceful yellow daisies throughout the summer. A modest walking is allowed because of the fleshy and robust texture of its creeping stems. The growth is rather slow but if this plant is collocated adequately you can cover large areas, even if they are steep and irregular, creating a thick lawn at low water requirements, which doesn't need cuts. Also suitable to cover small flowerbeds and the base of trees and shrubs, so avoiding the growth of weeds.
