ABELIA 'Edouard Goucher'

Description

It's a very cold-resistant shrub with a very fragrant flowering taking place from the late spring to the autumn. The supple stem gives an harmonious shape to the plant, the foliage is thick and shiny and of a green colour turning bronze-red in the autumn. It's perfect for fragrant hedges, as isolated specimen or together with other essences. To be cultivated in pot, it's enough heat-resistant but it is recommended a late spring irrigation. It's smaller than Abelia x grandiflora and its flowers are pink.

Suggestions

Prune after flowering to stimulate plant branching. Periodic fertilizations improve development and flowering.
